Énergix is an internal project of ISEN Méditerranée, supported by the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis. Its overall aim is to create an energy-focused digital assistant to promote controlled, virtuous consumption of energy and, more generally, of resources.
Énergix brings together ISEN Méditerranée's human and social sciences,Internet of Things (IoT), microelectronics, computer science, artificial intelligence and, of course, smart energy teams in a single project. While Énergix obviously includes a consumption measurement and control component, it goes far beyond this, exploring avenues such as inference engines, predictive algorithms, ultra-low consumption sensor networks, respect for privacy and confidentiality of processed information (as Énergix targets not only private individuals but also companies and administrations), while building around a backbone of environmental responsibility that includes energy and more generally resources.
Energix's aim is to create knowledge and solutions, which will then be considered for production by third parties.
