A computer engineering school where you can live out your passion

Customized curricula to excel in your field

Are you a top-level athlete, a talented musician or a passionate artist?

At ISEN Méditerranée, we understand that passion can take many forms. Whether you're a determined athlete, a virtuoso musician or a creative artist, we're here to support you in your passion as you pursue your life as anengineering student.

A commitment to academic excellence and personal fulfillment

Our primary mission is to guarantee our students academic excellence and smooth integration into the professional world. We also recognize the importance of supporting individual talents and passions in the fields of sport and the arts.

A flexible curriculum to meet your needs

To enable our students to take part in sporting competitions and training, concerts or artistic performances, we offer a flexible curriculum that enables us to adapt the academic timetable to their obligations

How does it work?

At the beginning of each academic year, students interested in being granted "high-level" status as athletes, musicians or artists must complete a file which will be analyzed by ISEN Méditerranée's Direction des Études. Once the application has been accepted, the school implements the requested accommodations.

The information to be provided for the creation of the file concerns the level of involvement in the sport, past performances and the schedule of competitions and events. These special courses enable students to make the most of their passion.

A testimonial from Klervi, basketball player and engineering student

"I arrived here in Toulon in my 4th year of the M1 Smart Energy program, and I've also been playing basketball at Carqueiranne (national level 3), a double project for a while now. I've had this project since I was in 5th grade, and I've learned to organize myself to be able to do both at the same time. It's a lot of organization, hard work and a few sacrifices, but when the results pay off it's always pleasant.

I use basketball a lot as a plus in CVs and cover letters for companies. For the team aspect, knowing how to behave in a group, adapting to all situations. ISEN gives me more of a professional side, knowing how to stay calm, even under pressure, and analyze."

Testimonial from Mikaël Viviani, trampoline champion

Hello Mikaël, can you tell us about your career?

My name is Mikaël Viviani. I'm an engineer from ISEN Toulon who graduated in 2017 and a top-level sportsman. I've been doing trampoline since the age of six. I joined ISEN after a Bac S in 2012. I did five years at ISEN and once I graduated, I moved to the Paris region to work mainly in data.

What can you tell us about your daily life as a top-level athlete?

I've been on the French trampoline team since I was twelve. My first competition was the world championships. One thing led to another and I was able to continue the sport throughout my schooling, from secondary school to engineering school. And still today, working as an engineer. This weekend, it's the French championships in Toulon, and I'm hoping to win a medal or, why not, a second French championship title.

My rhythm is a bit unusual. I'm at INSEP in the Paris region, the major sports performance center in France. I work in the morning, then I go to train at INSEP, eat, shower, go back to work in the afternoon, and in fact, that leaves me a lot more free time in the evening for my personal life with my family. It makes for 100-hour days.
