Curricula designed to help you excel in your field
Are you a top athlete, a talented musician, or a passionate artist?
At ISEN Méditerranée, we understand that passion can take many different forms. Whether you are a determined athlete, a virtuoso musician, or a creative artist, we are here to support you in your passion while you pursue yourstudies in engineering.
A commitment to academic excellence and personal fulfillment
Our primary mission is to guarantee our students academic excellence and a smooth transition into the professional world. We also recognize the importance of supporting individual talents and passions in sports and the arts.
A flexible curriculum to meet your needs
In order to enable our students to participate in sports competitions and training, concerts, or artistic performances, we offer a flexible curriculum that allows them to adapt their academic schedule to their commitments.
How does it work?
At the beginning of each academic year, students interested in obtaining "high-level" athlete, musician, or artist status must complete an application, which will be reviewed by the ISEN Méditerranée Academic Affairs Department. Once the application has been accepted, the school will implement the requested accommodations.
The information required to create the file concerns the level of involvement in the sport, past performance, and the schedule of competitions and events. The customized courses thus enable students to live their passion to the fullest.
The testimony of Klervi, basketball player and engineering student
"I arrived here in Toulon in my fourth year studying for a Master's in Smart Energy, and alongside that I play basketball in Carqueiranne (national level 3), a dual project I've been pursuing for some time now. I've had this project since I was in 7th grade, and I've learned to organize myself so that I can do both at the same time. It takes a lot of organization, hard work, and some sacrifices, but when the results pay off, it's always rewarding.
I often use basketball as a plus in my resumes and cover letters for companies. For the team aspect, knowing how to behave in a group, adapt to all situations. ISEN brings me more of a professional side, knowing how to stay calm, even under pressure, and analyze.

Testimonial from Mikaël Viviani, trampoline champion
Hello Mikaël, can you tell us about your career path?
My name is Mikaël Viviani. I am an engineer who graduated from ISEN Toulon in 2017 and a high-level athlete. I have been trampolining since I was six years old. I joined ISEN after completing my science baccalaureate in 2012. I spent five years at ISEN and, once I graduated, I moved to the Paris region to work mainly in data.
What can you tell us about your daily life as a top-level athlete?
I have been a member of the French trampoline team since I was twelve years old. My first competition was the world championships. One thing led to another, and I was able to continue the sport throughout my schooling, middle school, high school, and engineering school. And even today, while working as an engineer. This weekend, the French championships are in Toulon, and I hope to win a medal or, why not, a second French championship title.
I have a somewhat unusual schedule. I'm at INSEP in the Paris region, France's leading sports performance center. I work in the morning, then I go to train at INSEP, I eat, I take a shower, I go back to work in the afternoon, and in fact, that leaves me a lot more free time in the evening for my personal life with my family. It makes for days that go by at 100 miles an hour.
