The Smart Energy Laboratory

The smart energy lab is an open space to the ICI Lab dedicated to creativity in conjunction with the fablab and the IoT & Contactless lab. Together with our partners from industry and academia, we are accelerating the energy transition through a unique combination of science, technology and expertise.

This laboratory focuses on the energy efficiency of systems and allows to address the entire value chain from the creation of new uses to their testing in real conditions through the prototyping of objects/solutions. Moreover, this place is arranged in order to create a synergy between the students of ISEN Yncréa Méditerranée, the teachers-researchers and the world of the energy.

In this modular space, we not only have the capacity to teach courses, but also to work on projects with national and international partners, thanks to the rapid reconfiguration of our workspaces.

Achievements

InterConnect

The Labo smart energy serves as a testbed for the large-scale deployment of the French pilot.
The lab is linked to the infrastructures of Engie, Enedis, Inetum, ThermoVault and Trialog, in order to implement the two use cases presented in the links and presentations.

Smart PV

Goal: Implement power flow management algorithms to erase all the building's consumption peaks, by installing solar panels on the school's roof and batteries for storage.
