ISEN's R&D
The Research and Development Center is in the very DNA of our engineering school. Thus, it is the place where teachers, students and industrialists interact to create synergies for innovative projects that will contribute to improving the living conditions of tomorrow's world through the development of technologies.
Our primary objective at ISEN Yncréa Méditerranée R&D is to bring significant added value to this ecosystem through our R&D activities: micro and nanotechnologies, e-health, smart energy, artificial intelligence, smart objects (which include connected objects, cybersecurity, contactless, big data and cloud computing), software development and human and social sciences. Each of these activities consists of a team led by a senior teacher-researcher in the field.
With its institutional and industrial partners, ISEN Yncréa Méditerranée carries out national and international collaborative projects. Yncréa Méditerranée carries out research and development services for its clients in its fields of expertise, relying on its fablab, which has been accredited by MIT as a rapid prototyping tool. The R&D team deploys a great deal of energy to bring a high level scientific contribution to the world of research, by conducting research with partner laboratories, by writing scientific articles, by participating in conferences, by supervising phds and by carrying out studies and/or advanced proofs of concept for its clients.
We provide companies with engineers who are not only ingenious but also in line with the needs of the market, whether in terms of know-how, methods or interpersonal skills. As for our students, they bring us a fresh look at new technological uses and a current vision of the world around us. We are at the center of this virtuous circle, one of the catalysts of this ecosystem.
ISEN Yncréa Méditerranée's R&D department helps new digital uses emerge, as well as their objects and business models, by putting the user's needs and experience at the heart of the process. It uses its knowledge in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Human and Social Sciences, cybersecurity, reliability, nano structuring, contactless and information processing to provide concrete solutions to the challenges of today and tomorrow.
