Studying at ISEN Méditerranée with a disability
At ISEN Méditerranée, we are committed to ensuring equal opportunities and accessibility to our programs for all students, regardless of whether they have a temporary or permanent disability.
Our goal: to enable every student to complete their program under the best possible conditions, and to provide access to coursework, assessments, and opportunities for internships and international experiences through personalized support services.
The programs at ISEN Méditerranée lead to Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Engineering, as well as engineering degrees accredited by the CTI.

The disability support process
1. Discussion about your situation
An initial consultation allows us to identify your specific needs and evaluate possible solutions based on your situation and educational background.
2. Review of your application
Depending on your situation, various supporting documents may be required:
- RQTH (Recognition of Status as a Disabled Worker)
- PPS (Personalized Education Plan)
- AAH or AEEH
- ALD Certificate
- Medical certificates and specialized evaluations
Each situation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Installation of the facilities
An inclusion agreement may be drawn up to formalize the necessary accommodations regarding:
- the lessons,
- exams,
- lab work,
- campus life,
- internships and work placements
- company,
- international mobility.
The improvements may be temporary or permanent.
Possible modifications
Depending on the identified needs, various options may be offered.
Educational facilities
- Extended time during exams
- Adjustments to the assessment procedures
- Use of a computer during exams
- Adapted educational materials
- Consent to Digital Note-Taking
- Visitors are welcome to take photos of the paintings in progress
- Adapting language instruction
Hands-on exercises and technical instruction
Certain practical exercises may be modified as needed to ensure that the course is accessible to all students.
Temporary disability
In the event of an accident, illness, or temporary incapacity, temporary accommodations may also be made upon presentation of a doctor’s note.
Internships, Work-Study Programs, and Career Transition
ISEN Méditerranée also supports students with disabilities in their professional experiences:
- internships,
- work-study program,
- apprenticeship contracts,
- job placement.
In particular, students can receive financial aid and support through:
- AGEFIPH,
- Cap Emploi,
- the MDPH,
- RQTH programs.
In some cases, a modified work-study contract may be considered.
International Mobility and Erasmus+
Study abroad experiences are an integral part of the ISEN curriculum. Specific support systems are in place to assist students with disabilities in their international mobility plans.
The Erasmus+ program includes, among other things:
- additional financial assistance,
- coverage of certain specific expenses,
- appropriate support measures.
