Le Lab' IoT & Contactless

The main missions of Yncréa Méditerranée's IoT & Contactless laboratory are to:

  • to imagine the intelligent objects of tomorrow in a secure way;
  • model/simulate systems (RF, circuit, AI, architecture, etc.);
  • Design and integrate electronic systems (hardware and embedded code);
  • to prototype objects (circuit, antenna, packaging);
  • characterize/diagnose/validate systems;
  • to exploit and guarantee the integrity of the data (authenticity, sensors, signal processing, embedded A.I.).

    Development of advanced secure platforms (microelectronics and embedded software) adapted to the arrival of the new generation of electronic passports
    project
  • Safecity
    Definition and implementation of intelligent portable communicating objects for each category of individuals accessing the school (students, teachers, police officers, maintenance staff, parents, etc.), objects able to interact with the modular architecture set up
  • IPCEI Smart Layer
    The objective of this project is to develop a solution integrated in the ground, allowing at the same time to power wirelessly devices (up to 100W), to allow the communication between these devices and to heat (about 100W/m2)

Material

  • ANSYS simulation environments for studying electromagnetic and radiofrequency phenomena: electric and magnetic fields, antenna studies in the environment
  • KEYSIGHT ADS simulation suites, allowing the study and modeling of electronic systems (analog and digital) as well as an overview of performance at the architectural level
  • FPGA prototyping platforms to emulate different system architectures (cryptography, RF, AI, signal processing)
  • Pre-certification and diagnostic platform for contactless devices. It allows to test radiofrequency devices according to NFC, EMVCo, ISO 14443 and 10373-6 standards
