Do you want to become a Smart Energy engineer?

Engineering cycle: smart energy option

smart energy

Imagine new energy and environmental solutions

Energy transition is one of the PACA region's key sectors, as demonstrated by the implementation of demonstration projects such as Nice Grid and Interconnect (2019 - 2023), whose demonstrators have been taking place in Toulon since 2021. It is deployed in private homes and public buildings in various cities.

ISEN is therefore building on this local dynamic to offer students in their 4th and 5th years a specialization in Sustainable Energy that focuses on two areas:

  • Smart Grids, intelligent production for different energy networks (280h excluding projects), dealing with the production of electricity from renewable sources (photovoltaic, wind, hydrogen, etc.), and the management of its distribution on a smart grid.
  • energy efficiency, based on optimizing energy consumption by anticipating future uses, thanks to Android applications, artificial intelligence and the use of connected objects. Concepts such as remote home management, electric vehicles and environmental engineering are covered.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System ( ECTS ) is a points system developed by the European Union as part of the Bologna Process and theEuropean Higher Education Area(EHEA). Credits are divided into teaching units (UE).

It aims to make it easier to read and compare study programmes within a country and between different European countries. The ECTS system applies mainly to university education. It is applied in France and has replaced the system of credits (UV) previously used.
