Engineering apprenticeship program

Apprenticeship as an engineer

The engineering apprentice is required to apply his or her academic studies to a concrete engineering project in a company. This project integrates technical, managerial and methodological issues.

From the start of the 2026 academic year, for students entering the engineering cycle, all options will be open to apprenticeship, with the possibility of completing the course on a sandwich basis over 1, 2 or 3 years:

The programs are adapted to the rhythm of the 3-year sandwich course: the first year is dedicated to a common base of knowledge, the following two years to specialization.

Apprentices alternate 2 weeks at school and 2 weeks on the job.

Student status or work-study: the choice is yours!

You have the option of starting your engineering cycle with a year as a student, then doing your 2nd and/or 3rd year of the program on a sandwich course.

The plus of the training

Thanks to this apprenticeship program, our students benefit from a double advantage: they obtain a recognized diploma while beginning their professional career.

They benefit from :

  • an employment contract with the host company,
  • remuneration,
  • coverage of training costs.

Work-study programs in the final year of engineering studies

If you didn't start your engineering cycle with 1 or 2 years of apprenticeship, you can complete your final year under a professionalization contract. The terms and conditions are much the same:

  • Alternating weeks of classes and weeks on the job,
  • Remuneration paid by the company,
  • The cost of training is covered by the company.

What's next?

At the end of this 3-year cycle, you'll receive the ISEN engineering diploma, recognized by the CTI. You can start your career as a digital engineer, or continue your studies with a Specialized Master® or a PhD.

International mobility

This cycle offers 3 months of international assignments.
