ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, leading, and monitoring mathematics training modules for students at the first- through third-year college level. He or she helps develop the fundamental skills in applied mathematics required for engineering programs.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Calculus (functions, limits, derivatives, integrals)
- Linear Algebra (matrices, systems, vector spaces)
- Probability and Statistics
- Mathematics Applied to Engineering
- Develop instructional materials (lectures, tutorials, exercises)
- Supervise tutorials and provide methodological guidance
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, homework)
- Helping students solve math problems
- Help improve educational content
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- Mathematics
- Applied mathematics
- Physics/engineering with a strong emphasis on mathematics
- Desired work experience in:
- Higher education
- or advanced application of mathematics in the workplace
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in the fundamentals of linear algebra and analysis
- Strong skills in probability and statistics
- Ability to formalize and model problems
- Strong proficiency in mathematical and computational tools
- Understanding the applications of mathematics in engineering
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Accuracy and clarity in explanation

- Ability to make abstract concepts understandable
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Proficiency in scientific computing tools (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
