ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, leading, and monitoring mobile development training modules for students at the associate’s through master’s degree levels. They help students develop skills in designing native and cross-platform mobile applications, as well as best practices in mobile software development.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Android Mobile Development (Kotlin / Java)
- iOS Development (Swift)
- Cross-platform framework (Flutter, React Native, or equivalent)
- Mobile Application Architecture (MVVM, MVC)
- User Interfaces and Mobile User Experience (UX/UI)
- Develop teaching materials (lectures, tutorials, lab sessions)
- Supervise hands-on exercises and mobile development projects
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, projects)
- Support students in the design and deployment of mobile apps
- Help improve educational content
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- ICT
- Software development
- Software Engineering / Mobile Systems
- Desired work experience in:
- Mobile app development
- or computer science education/training
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in at least one mobile platform (Android or iOS)
- Experience with a cross-platform framework (Flutter, React Native, etc.)
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
- Using mobile development tools (Android Studio, Xcode)
- Basics of App Publishing (App Store / Google Play)
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Fluency in speaking
- Autonomy and organization
- A practical and hands-on approach to projects
- Ability to oversee entire student projects
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Experience in developing published applications
- Knowledge of mobile APIs and the associated backend
- UX/UI expertise and app design
- Experience in agile project management (Scrum, Kanban)
