Core business
After graduating from ISEN with an engineering degree in e-health, I was given the opportunity to continue my studies with an academic thesis focusing on the development of a connected wound dressing. This project is a continuation of the LOTUS program initiated at the school, and is being carried out under the joint supervision of Mr. Alain Loussert and Mr. Raimundo. Alongside my research, I also supervise practical work in electronics and student projects.

Prospective
Chronic wound infections pose a serious public health problem. Difficult to treat, they often require extensive and costly interventions, accounting for around 6% of global healthcare expenditure. More than 300 million people are affected, a number that continues to rise as the population ages.
Faced with this challenge, connected technologies capable of detecting infections quickly and transmitting data in real time could transform the way these wounds are treated. These technologies aim to facilitate monitoring, make treatment more effective and reduce healthcare costs.
360°
My thesis proposes a solution for treating chronic wound infections using electrostimulation technology. Using a modified surface with biocidal properties, this device will eliminate bacteria without releasing toxic substances.
The aim will be to develop an intelligent device capable of detecting infections in real time, while remaining compact and autonomous. The system will incorporate advanced sensors to monitor wound status, as well as a microcontroller and Bluetooth module to transmit data remotely.
Artificial intelligence can also be integrated into this project. It will be used to analyze the data collected, enabling early intervention tailored to patients' specific needs.
