The Cloud & Hybrid Security Solutions Operator Pathway

Thecloud and hybrid security solutions operator is responsible for implementing security controls in cloud and hybrid environments.

 He/she is responsible for configuring and operating the services deployed, while applying security rules. To achieve this, he/she will be guided by the recommendations of ANSSI, CIS, Azure Security. Benchmark (ASB) and any internal procedures for securing systems and networks.

He/she is also involved in configuring and operating security solutions to defend his/her organization against threats (ransomware and phishing) and protect data and applications. 

Finally, he/she participates in the dissemination of good security practices in the use of tools and services within the organization, with the aim of limiting the risks associated with potential attacks.

The job ofCloud and hybrid security solutions operator then revolves around 6 main activities
:

  • Administration of cloud and hybrid infrastructures: provisioning, integration, parameterization, securing, and maintaining operational and security conditions.

  • Supervision and support, in compliance with best practices (ITIL).

  • The evolution of cloud and hybrid infrastructures and risk management, based on ANSSI recommendations and guides and CIS benchmarks.

  • The administration of technical solutions enabling users to access data and information.

  • applications, ensuring secure access and data protection.

  • Integrating mobility solutions into user work environment management.

  • Contribute to the company's safety policy by raising awareness, providing documentation and disseminating best practices.

Training program

Phase 0 - La Prairie - introduction to the training program - 70 hours Introduction to training

Phase 1 - Systems and network administration in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux) and hybrid cloud - 210 hours

  • Module 1.1: System and network provisioning - 70 hours Skills covered by this module
  • Module 1.2: Deployment of workstations and services - 35 hours Skills covered by this module 
  • Module 1.3: Systems and network administration - 70 hours
  • Module 1.4: Service administration - 35 hours

 

Phase 2.1 - Integration of security solutions in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux) and hybrid clouds - 105 hours (Part 1/2) 

  • Module 2.1.1 :Module 2.1.1 : Solution integration methodology
  • Module 2.1.2: Integration of identity management solutions - 98 hours

Passing the SC-900 certification Before the start of the work-study period, learners are offered the opportunity to prepare for and pass the Microsoft SC-900 certification.

From phase 2.2 to phase 5 - 16-month sandwich course: one week at the training center for 3 weeks at the company each month. The weeks at the training center will be classroom-based. Total hours at the training center: 560 hours.

Phase 2.2 - Integration of security solutions in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux) and hybrid clouds - 210 hours (Part 2/2)

  • Module 2.2.1: Integration of device security solutions
  • Module 2.2.2: Integration of application and data protection solutions

 

Taking the AZ-500 certification At the end of phase 2.2, learners can prepare for and take the Microsoft AZ-500 certification.

Phase 3 - Support and MCO in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux) and hybrid cloud - 140 hours 

  • Module 3.1: Management of security incidents and incoming requests (ITIL) - 70 hours
  • Module 3.2: Supervision, monitoring of indicators based on safety criteria - 70 hours

Phase 4 - System and network hardening in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux) and hybrid cloud - 105 hours 

  • Module 4.1: Audit system configurations based on security criteria

 

Depending on individual progress, learners will be offered the opportunity to prepare for and take Microsoft SC-100 or Microsoft MS-500 certification.

Phase 5 - Preparation for the professional qualification and completion of the training course - 105 hours Activities and tasks 

  • definition of the project manager with the company
  • project realization
  • report writing as progress is made
  • drafting the professional file and retaking the ECFs
  • preparing the presentation and demonstration
  • validation of all deliverables required by the professional title

Course leading to the Professional title of Secure Infrastructure Administrator RNCP37680.
Level 6 is equivalent to a bac+3 or bac+4 diploma.

The hourly cost of this training (including certification) varies from 12 euros to 27 euros per hour (excluding surcharges or modulation linked to a specific scheme). For learners, the cost of this training is fully reimbursed. 

Simplon secures funding for this training through various schemes, including Pôle Emploi, OPCO, European Funds, the Regions, CPF, companies (on quotation as part of their employees' training, or through a remainder to be paid as part of a sandwich course), etc.
