L’année scolaire se termine progressivement, et il est déjà temps de faire le bilan pour les associations étudiantes de l’ISEN Méditerranée ! Dans cette série d’interviews, nous donnons la parole aux étudiants pour qu’ils présentent leur association, les actions menées et les futurs projets.
Nous nous intéressons aujourd’hui à ISEN Repair, une association spécialisée, comme son nom l’indique, dans la réparation informatique.
Pierre Geiguer, président de l’association, a accepté de répondre à nos questions.
Pouvez-vous présenter succinctement votre association ?
L’ISEN Repair est une association loi 1901 fondée en 2009 par des étudiants de l’ISEN, elle a pour missions la collecte, le reconditionnement et la redistribution de matériel informatique tout en formant ses membres aux techniques de réparation hardware et software.
Combien de membres la composent et qu’est-ce qui les motive ?
The association is made up of around fifty active members, all motivated to learn and discover the world of hardware repair. Some have quite a few skills and want to use them, but for many it's an initiation to techniques that we don't learn in class. We train the students in-house so that they can be self-sufficient and, in the future, diagnose and repair equipment in their own environment.
What actions has your association carried out this year? And how would you assess them?
One of the highlights of the year was an international partnership that enabled us to send machines to Togo with the help of our partner Electriciens sans frontières. This collaboration has enabled us to extend our reach on a new scale.
Quels sont les futurs projets que vous allez mettre en place dans les semaines/mois à venir ?
Some time ago, we salvaged some old machines from the 90's, real collector's items, and we want to share them with as many people as possible by creating a showcase that we can display in the building. We also want to continue our development, both in Toulon and the surrounding area, as well as internationally if the opportunity arises... to be continued...
