ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, teaching, and monitoring training modules on signal processing and modulation techniques for students at the associate’s through master’s degree levels. He or she helps students acquire the theoretical and applied foundations necessary for telecommunications systems and embedded systems.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Signal Processing (Continuous and Discrete)
- Frequency analysis (Fourier analysis, spectra)
- Signal Sampling and Reconstruction
- Analog and digital modulations (AM, FM, ASK, FSK, QAM)
- Fundamentals of Digital Communications
- Develop teaching materials (lectures, tutorials, lab sessions)
- Supervise laboratory work (signal analysis, simulations)
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, projects)
- Help students understand transmission systems
- Help improve educational content
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- Telecommunications
- Electronics
- Applied physics
- Signal processing
- Desired work experience in:
- Telecommunications / Embedded Systems / R&D
- or education/training in engineering
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in the fundamentals of signal processing
- A solid understanding of transforms (Fourier, Laplace, Z)
- Knowledge of analog and digital modulation techniques
- Basics of Digital Communications and Transmission Noise
- Experience with simulation tools (Matlab, Python, and Simulink are a plus)
- Understanding Telecommunications Systems
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Scientific and mathematical rigor
- Fluency in speaking
- Autonomy and organization
- Ability to connect theory with practical applications
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Experience in telecommunications or industrial R&D
- Knowledge of RF or IoT systems (preferred)
- Experience in signal simulation or modeling
- Participation in industrial or academic projects in signal processing
