ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, teaching, and monitoring training modules in industrial information systems, automation, and control systems for students at the associate’s through master’s degree levels. He or she contributes to the development of technical skills aligned with market needs.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Industrial automation (PLCs, supervisory systems, industrial networks)
- Automation (control systems, modeling, regulation)
- Information Systems for Industry
- Oversee technical or industrial projects
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, oral presentations)
- Monitor technological developments in one's field
- Help improve educational programs
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- Automatic
- Industrial Computing
- Electrical Engineering / Embedded Systems
- Desired work experience in:
- Industry (manufacturing, automation, robotics)
- or education / training
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (e.g., Siemens, Schneider)
- Knowledge of monitoring systems (SCADA)
- Solid foundation in control systems (PID, system modeling)
- Programming (Python, C, or equivalent preferred)
- Knowledge of industrial networks (Modbus, Profinet, etc.)
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Fluency in speaking
- Autonomy and organization
- Ability to adapt to different audiences
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 and IoT issues
- Experience in technical project management
