ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, leading, and monitoring computer programming training modules for students at the associate’s and bachelor’s degree levels. He or she helps students develop skills in software development, programming logic, and best coding practices.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Programming (Python, C, Java, or equivalent)
- Object-oriented programming
- Data Structures and Applied Algorithms
- Best practices in software development
- Develop teaching materials (lectures, tutorials, lab sessions)
- Supervise hands-on exercises and programming projects
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, projects)
- Support students in developing their software projects
- Help improve educational content
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- ICT
- Software development
- Software Engineering
- Desired work experience in:
- Enterprise Software Development
- or computer science education/training
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C, Java, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms
- Familiarity with development tools (IDE, Git)
- Fundamentals of software quality (testing, debugging, clean code)
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Fluency in speaking
- Autonomy and organization
- Logical and organized mindset
- Ability to mentor student projects
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Experience with DevOps or cloud environments (preferred)
- Experience in software project management
- Commitment to best practices in industrial development
