ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, leading, and monitoring web development training modules for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He or she helps students develop their skills in front-end and back-end development, as well as the design of modern web applications.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or equivalent)
- Back-end development (Node.js, PHP, Python, or equivalent)
- Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Web Architecture and REST APIs
- Develop teaching materials (lectures, tutorials, lab sessions)
- Manage end-to-end web projects (websites, applications, APIs)
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, projects)
- Support students in the design and deployment of web applications
- Help improve educational content
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- ICT
- Software development
- Software/Web Engineering
- Desired work experience in:
- Web development for businesses or as a freelancer
- or computer science education/training
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with a modern framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
- Back-end development skills (Node.js, PHP, Python, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web architecture
- Knowledge of deployment (servers, cloud, hosting) is a plus
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Fluency in speaking
- Autonomy and organization
- A practical and hands-on approach to projects
- Ability to supervise full-scale student projects
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Experience with live web projects
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD)
- UX/UI expertise and interface design
- Experience in agile project management (Scrum, Kanban)
