ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.

Main mission
The instructor is responsible for designing, leading, and monitoring training modules in algorithms and programming for students at the first- through third-year college level. He or she helps students develop skills in algorithmic logic, problem-solving, and the fundamentals of software development.
Main activities:
- Design and teach courses in:
- Algorithms (data structures, complexity, logic)
- Programming (Python, C, or equivalent)
- Introduction to Best Practices in Development
- Develop teaching materials (lectures, tutorials, lab sessions)
- Supervise hands-on exercises and programming projects
- Assessing students (quizzes, exams, projects)
- Helping students solve problems
- Help improve educational content
Qualifications
- A minimum of a five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in:
- ICT
- Applied mathematics
- Software Engineering
- Desired work experience in:
- Software development
- or education / training
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in algorithmic concepts (data structures, complexity)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C, Java, etc.)
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Testing concepts, debugging, and best practices in software development
- Experience with development tools (IDE, Git preferred)
- Teaching skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Fluency in speaking
- Autonomy and organization
- Ability to make abstract concepts accessible
- Logical and organized mindset
- Experience at an engineering school or training institution
- Knowledge of advanced structures or optimized algorithms
- Experience in managing IT projects
- Awareness of digital issues (AI, data, cybersecurity)
