Job duties
ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
An engineering school with campuses in Toulon and Marseille, it trains approximately 850 students each year in digital fields: embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, the Internet of Things (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.
As part of its efforts to expand its teaching and research activities, ISEN Méditerranée is recruiting a Faculty Member and Researcher in Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Programming (M/F) to strengthen its teaching and research team.
Job duties
You will teach engineering students in both theoretical and practical courses in the following fields:
- Front-end and Back-end Web Development
- Software Engineering and Application Architectures
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Object-oriented programming
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Databases and Information Systems
- Development of Distributed and Connected Applications
You will also participate in:
- Supervision of Student Projects
- Tracking Internships and Final-Year Projects
- The Creation and Evolution of Educational Content
- Student Assessment
Research and Innovation:
You will conduct research in the fields of digital technology and artificial intelligence, including:
- AI Applied to Digital Systems
- Software engineering
- Smart and Connected Applications
- Advanced Web Development
- Data Analysis and Utilization
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Produce scientific publications and papers
- Participate in research projects and respond to calls for proposals
- Develop academic and industrial partnerships
- Promote research efforts to partners and students
Contribution to the institution
- Participate in school activities (juries, committees, events)
- Contribute to the school's scientific and educational reputation
Profile
Proficiency in several technologies, including:
- Java, JavaScript, Python, C, C++
- Modern Web Frameworks
- SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Collaborative tools (Git, CI/CD)
Experience in artificial intelligence (machine learning, deep learning) is a plus.
- Ability to design and lead classes
- Experience in supervising student projects
- Ability to conduct research
Scientific expertise and research:
- Proven experience in academic and/or applied research.
- Publication in scientific journals or participation in international conferences.

Salary: between 34,000 and 38,000 euros gross per year
