Presentation of ISEN Méditerranée
ISEN Méditerranée is a private higher education institution of public interest (EESPIG) under contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ISEN Méditerranée is an engineering school located in the cities of Toulon and Marseille. Each year, the school trains 850 students in digital technologies, including embedded systems, mobile robotics, smart energy, connected objects (IoT), e-health, software development, business engineering, and cybersecurity.
In order to strengthen our teaching team, we are looking for a teacher-researcher in web development.
Here are the main tasks that could be assigned to him/her
Job duties

Design and deliver courses and practical work in web development, with a focus on Java and its associated frameworks.

Participate in supervising student projects, internships, and theses.

Contribute to updating and innovating teaching programs.
Search:

Develop and lead research projects in the field of web development, software architectures, and Java technologies.

Create and implement high-performance client-server software architectures; put code into production and create a potential link with embedded programming.

Publish in recognized scientific journals and conferences.

Participate in national and international collaborations with academic and industrial partners.
Contribution to the institution:

Participate in school activities: educational councils, juries, committees, conferences.

Contribute to the scientific influence and promotion of the school's projects.
Profile

Ability to design and lead courses and practical work.

Scientific expertise and research:

Proven experience in academic and/or applied research.

Publication in scientific journals or participation in international conferences.

Salary: between €36,000 and €42,000 gross per annum
