Core business

Zhen LIN has been a teacher-researcher at ISEN Méditerranée since August 2023. He has worked in French and international laboratories and research centers on various projects: radio frequency, electromagnetism, nanophotonics, nano characterization and microwaves. He has also taught in French, English and Chinese in French engineering schools and top universities for different levels of students from Licence to Master on :

Prospective

Communicating objects require devices based on microwave and optical technologies. We use numerical algorithms for electromagnetic modeling, and develop software tools for nanotechnology applications. This enables us to address the constraints linked to the development of electronic, microwave or optical equipment, or advanced nanostructures for a better life.

About me

I obtained my Ph.D in electromagnetism and microwave technology (specialty: Electronics Information Science and Technology) in 2007 in China. In January 2011, I defended my French thesis at INSA Lyon on electrical nanocharacterization with microscopies (AFM, SCM, EFM, KPFM) for the study of nanostructures: application to Ge/Si nanocrystals (specialty: Materials Science). I have worked in the following structures: INL-Lyon, Nanyang Technological University, Sichuan University, EC-Lyon, ESPCI Paris etc.
