The nanoscience laboratory
Created in 2002, the "nanosciences" laboratory has acquired extensive experience in the creation and characterization of functional surfaces by molecular self-assembly (SAM) through the various research projects carried out by IM2NP's "nanostructuring" team.
The systems we study have a wide range of applications, including molecular electronics, photovoltaics, organic sensors and biomedical applications.
Achievements
- Functionalization of surfaces by molecular self-assembly.
- Deposition of organic layers by evaporation.
- Preparation of metallic substrates (Au/Cr/glass or Si, Au/glass: SERS application).
- Deposition of top electrodes (Al, ...) through mask.
- Surface analysis: morphology, roughness, surface tension.
- Spectroscopic analysis: structural identification.
