Science and artificial intelligence engineering training
The Science and Artificial Intelligence preparatory engineering course is designed for students with a passion for mathematics, modeling and emerging technologies.
The program emphasizes the scientific foundations of algorithms, data analysis and artificial intelligence, while integrating mathematics, physics and computer science.
At the end of these two years, students enter the engineering cycle with access to all specialization options.
This program prepares scientific engineers with unique expertise, capable of understanding and developing AI applications in a wide range of sectors, from industry to healthcare.
Specificities of the training
Throughout the two-year program, each student benefits from individualized pedagogical support to help them succeed.
Regular assessments enable students and their families to follow the progress of their learning, both in terms of knowledge and practical skills.
The course is organized into semesters and modules. In line with the European LMD system, each validated module awards cumulative ECTS credits, at a rate of 30 credits per semester.
The assessment also takes into account interpersonal skills, by highlighting community involvement (in sports, culture, the arts, etc.), communication initiatives and the quality of teaching relationships.
Our teachers are strongly committed to each student's success, offering support courses tailored to individual needs, as well as personalized methodological support.
Student tutoring rounds out the system, with alumni sharing their experience and providing advice and support to newcomers.

ISEN engineers
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System ( ECTS ) is a points system developed by the European Union as part of the Bologna Process and theEuropean Higher Education Area(EHEA). Credits are divided into teaching units (UE).
It aims to make it easier to read and compare study programmes within a country and between different European countries. The ECTS system applies mainly to university education. It is applied in France and has replaced the system of credits (UV) previously used.
What's next?
At the end of this preparatory course, you have access to all the options offered by the school in the engineering cycle. After 5 years of training at ISEN, you will be awarded the ISEN engineering diploma, recognized by the Cti.
International mobility
This preparatory program offers a semester of international study in the 4th semester or a one-month internship in an English-speaking country.
Admission
Post-baccalaureate applications are made via Parcoursup and the Puissance Alpha competition for engineers with 5 years' higher education.
The competition score for each candidate will be distributed according to the following criteria:
- 50% of the grade will be awarded on the basis of the student's academic record.
- 50% of the mark will be awarded in the written competition
Applicants in the general final year of high school must take the written tests, with the exception of those who are highly ranked.
