Engineering training in biology and e-health

The biology and e-health engineering preparatory program combines high scientific standards with project-based teaching.

In 4 semesters, this multi-disciplinary training program provides the technical skills and scientific culture essential for careers centered on digital technologies in the living world.

From medical imaging to bionanotechnologies that are changing the way we diagnose and treat the sick, from connected objects and geolocation of machines that are revolutionizing modern agriculture and agrifoods, to the analysis of data from digital and living sources, this training enables us to target innovative professions for health and the environment.

Specificities of the training

This program includes a semester of study abroad at one of the school's partner universities. Spain, Scotland, the Netherlands... the aim is to open up to the world and develop your level of English and other languages.

Individualized pedagogical supervision throughout the course guarantees the best conditions for success for all students. Groups are made up of around twenty students, guaranteeing adequate supervision.

Regular assessment of knowledge enables students and their families to evaluate progress in the acquisition of knowledge and skills.

The program is divided into semesters and modules. In accordance with the European system for the organization of studies (LMD), the modules acquired earn ECTS credits and are capitalized by the student. Each semester is equivalent to 30 credits.

Soft skills are also valued, with an assessment of associative activities (sports, music, etc.), communication initiatives and pedagogical relations.

The school's teachers are highly committed to the success of each student, and tutoring is available on request for students with learning difficulties. Personalized coaching is also available for methodological problems.

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System ( ECTS ) is a points system developed by the European Union as part of the Bologna Process and theEuropean Higher Education Area(EHEA). Credits are divided into teaching units (UE).

It aims to make it easier to read and compare study programmes within a country and between different European countries. The ECTS system applies mainly to university education. It is applied in France and has replaced the system of credits (UV) previously used.

What's next?

At the end of this preparatory course, you have access to all the options offered by the school in the engineering cycle. After 5 years of training at ISEN, you will be awarded the ISEN engineering diploma, recognized by the Cti.

International mobility

This preparatory program offers a semester of international study in the 4th semester or a one-month internship in an English-speaking country.
