Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today because tomorrow is your future and you can't do your future, even though you are struggling to live your present.
Core business
Responsible for the training of SHES (Humanities, Economics and Social Sciences)
Nowadays, an engineer can no longer limit himself to a "technical" vision of his function. We are in a world where everything is always moving very fast: 30 years ago, an engineer worked in research or innovation to find ideas. Others were in charge of implementing them. Today, an engineer who has an idea must develop it quickly, market it and make it realistic.
Companies have thus brought together expertise and management to facilitate cross-functional work and now include soft skills in the recruitment process.
Putting people at the heart of our training is a priority and each year we adapt our SHES teachings to :
- To meet the requirements of the business world in our fields
- To allow students to grow with/through their human skills and to learn to know themselves better
Business Engineer option Initial training
The job of business engineer is a position with high responsibilities, with a strong decision-making dimension and immersion in the business world.
The ISEN business engineer is the one who ensures that the company's projects run smoothly on behalf of its customer: in other words, he's the link between the company and the customer, for whom he analyzes the solutions adapted to the project. What's more, thanks to their technical training at ISEN, ISEN business engineers are recognized for their adaptability and responsiveness in understanding technical issues, giving them a definite advantage.
This is why, each year, we adapt our business engineering courses to develop the "business" fibre of our future engineers and to meet the growing demand for business developers who are as qualified in human terms as they are in technical terms.
Prospective
Project Management
How many project management jobs have been created in the last 10 years worldwide? About 16 million. This position, little considered yesterday, is now becoming central in companies!
Here are the 4 dimensions that most succinctly characterize the job of project manager:
- team and people management (key point of the job)
- management of work processes
- change management
- versatility
GarageWeek
In the3rd year, we organize a blocked project week on a specific theme in the air of time. It usually takes place in June, at the end of the school year, once the "annual" technical skills have been acquired.
The aim of GarageWeek is for students to propose an innovation based on a societal issue. They have to come up with a high-impact idea based on the issue presented by the speaker, and then design a prototype in one week that has proof-of-concept value.
360°
Do all the management techniques currently used in the world ensure that the economy prospers in a safe and fair space for humanity?
A thesis in this field should emerge on this exciting subject.
